Vish is a salon technology company on a mission to help hair salons make more money
from their color while reducing waste. Our platform tracks color usage at the bowl, cuts
product waste, and protects salon profitability. We are growing fast and building out our
team in Newfoundland and Labrador.
About the Role
We are hiring an entry-level Business Development Representative (BDR) to power the top
of our sales pipeline. You will be the first point of contact for salons discovering Vish.
Working alongside our sales team, you will research prospects, run outbound outreach,
maintain accurate and actionable data , qualify interest, and book demos for our sales
team. This is a coaching-heavy, early-career role with structured onboarding, hands-on
mentorship, and a clear path to grow into a full sales seat.
What You Will Do
- • Research salons and build targeted prospect lists
• Run outbound outreach by email, phone, and social to start conversations and book
qualified demos
• Qualify inbound leads and route them to the right salesperson
• Keep the CRM accurate and track your activity against clear targets
• Learn Vish’s product, market, and sales method through structured onboarding and
mentorship

• Resilient and motivated by clear goals and targets
• Genuine interest in building a career in tech sales
• Salon or beauty-industry exposure is an asset, not a requirement
Eligibility
This role is supported by the Graduate Transition Initiative. To be eligible, applicants must
meet all of the following:
- • Able to work full-time in Newfoundland and Labrador starting August 2026
• Legally entitled to work full-time in Newfoundland and Labrador
• Completion (within the past two years) of a minimum one-year post-secondary or
skills-training program at a recognized NL institution (e.g., MUN, CNA, Keyin College,
Get Building, etc.)
• Not currently enrolled as a full-time student
Program Statement
This position is funded through the Graduate Transition Initiative, delivered by techNL and the
Department of Jobs, Growth and Rural Development. The initiative provides support to eligible
companies that hire recent graduates into software development and tech sales roles, providing
meaningful early-career experience while supporting long-term growth in Newfoundland and
Labrador’s tech sector.
