Our software and imaging technologies support critical missions where reliability, innovation, and performance matter.
Start Your Software Development Career by Building Real Products
We’re looking for a Junior Software Developer to join our Software Team through the Graduate Transition Initiative.
From your first weeks, you’ll contribute to real features, participate in technical discussions, and gradually take ownership of your work. Your work won’t stay in a development environment. You’ll help build software used by customers operating in offshore energy, marine research, renewable energy, and underwater inspection around the world.
What You’ll Experience
As part of our Software Team, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- ● Help build and launch one of SubC Imaging’s next software products.
● Work directly with our VP of Software and experienced software developers on real customer-facing software.
● Develop software using modern Microsoft technologies including C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, Blazor, and WPF.
● Participate in planning sessions, code reviews, technical discussions, testing, and continuous product improvement.
● Gain experience across the full software development lifecycle, from planning and development through testing, deployment, and customer support.
● Learn how exceptional customer support contributes to great software by shadowing, and later participating in, our Software Support rotation.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is curious, motivated, and excited to begin their software development career.
You’ll be a great fit if you have:
- ● A diploma or degree in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
● Foundational knowledge of C# and software development principles.
● Familiarity with Git or other source control tools.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Strong communication and teamwork skills.
● A willingness to learn, adapt, and continuously improve.
Experience with ASP.NET Core, Blazor, WPF, REST APIs, Microsoft Azure, Jira, Agile development environments, real-time streaming technologies, or AI-assisted development tools would be considered an asset.
Why Join SubC?
At SubC Imaging, you’ll do more than build your technical skills. You’ll have the opportunity to:
- ● Work on commercial software used by customers around the world.
● Receive mentorship from our VP of Software and experienced developers.
● Help launch one of SubC Imaging’s next software products from early development through release.
● Take increasing ownership of meaningful features and projects as your skills grow.
● Collaborate with software developers, QA professionals, and support specialists.
● Learn within a collaborative team that values curiosity, teamwork, continuous improvement, and innovation.
