Next-generation medical devices for patient monitoring
JVPLabs is looking for a NEW GRADUATE for the role of Junior Digital Health Analyst to help support data-driven healthcare initiatives. This is a 6-month contract with the possibility to extend further. This position serves as a bridge between clinical workflows, healthcare data standards, and business analysis. As an entry-level role, the analyst assists with gathering requirements, analyzing healthcare data, reporting projects, and contributing to process improvement efforts. The main objective is to help deliver scalable digital health solutions.
The analyst works collaboratively across teams including product, data engineering, clinical subject matter experts, and operations. Their contributions focus on enhancing data quality, improving reliability in reporting, and achieving positive stakeholder outcomes. All work is performed with a strong commitment to regulatory compliance and security standards.
Education and Desired Skills:
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in one of the following fields:
- Health Informatics or Health Information Management
- Computer Science, Software Development, or Information Technology
- Engineering (Biomedical, Computer, Electrical, or related)
- Data Analytics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or Data Science
- Public Health or Health Sciences
Nice to have: a foundational understanding of:
- Healthcare systems and clinical workflows
- Health informatics concepts and healthcare data
Experience using; Excel or similar tools for analysis and reporting SQL, Python, R, or similar analytics tools (academic experience acceptable) - Ability to analyze data, document requirements, and communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Note: This position is funded by a Government of Canada program. To be eligible, applicants must be a recent grad, and legally entitled to work in Canada (Canadian citizen or permanent resident)
