Branch Innovations, a division of Seafair, partners with hospitals, health care providers, community
care providers, founders and government agencies to co-create process and technology solutions in the form of SaaS products, managed services, and turnkey program administration services. The focus of Branch is to build better linkages across the entire continuum of care to solve communication, logistics, and process challenges experienced by service providers, care workers, and patients alike.
This division also works closely the Seafair’s group of organizations and external customers to

The Position
As a Project Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the growth and commercialization of
Branch Innovations’ technology products and initiatives. This role is designed for an early-career professional with an entrepreneurial mindset and a genuine interest in technology, business development, and innovation. Based in St. John’s, NL, you will work closely with the Innovation team to identify and support new business opportunities, build stakeholder relationships, and help bring solutions to market.

Business Development & Commercialization
- • Identify, cultivate, and manage strategic partnerships with organizations, technology
providers, and funding agencies to advance innovation initiatives.
• Support efforts to secure new business opportunities, including proposal development, grant applications, and stakeholder engagement that align with organizational growth objectives.
• Translate early-stage ideas, pilots, and evolving solutions into structured plans, documentation, and next steps.
• Support go-to-market activities for innovation products and solutions, including participating in product demonstrations and discovery calls with prospective clients.
• Support the communication of technical product features in terms of business value for buyers and decision-makers.
• Contribute to pipeline management through prospecting, outreach, and follow-ups using CRM tools.
• Assist in the development of proposals, scopes of work, and pilot agreements, and work
closely with product and technical teams to respond to client questions and help advance opportunities forward.
• Proactively scan for relevant opportunities, calls for innovation, and partnership programs.
• Conduct market and sector research to help inform, validate or discovery emerging concepts and solutions.
• Contribute to identifying opportunities for growth, partnerships, and scalability of innovation initiatives.
Project Coordination
- • Support the planning, execution, and evaluation of innovation projects, contributing to on-time delivery within scope and budget.
• Support the development and maintenance of SOPs, templates, and program documentation across initiatives.
• Coordinate proposal writing and funding applications, including research, drafting, and submission support.
• Act as an organizational connector across teams, partners, and projects to ensure continuity and follow-through.
Stakeholder Engagement & Partnership Support
- • Support Branch’s ongoing presence and relationships with internal and external
stakeholders, including healthcare providers, government bodies, industry associations, and community organizations.
• Support the adoption and sustainability of innovative solutions by contributing to change management activities, addressing resistance, and fostering stakeholder engagement.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating clear communication and a collaborative approach.
• Contribute to a collaborative team culture and support peers as needed.
Required Skills
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences and contexts.
• Comfort working with digital tools and platforms, including CRM systems, with the ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
• Ability to synthesize complex or technical information into clear, accessible language for diverse stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and an ability to produce clear, consistent, high-quality outputs such as proposals, documentation, and reports.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to safely and strategically leverage AI tools
Qualifications
- • Experience in business development, sales, innovation, or a related field gained through
professional roles, academic work, or a combination of education and practical experience.
• Solid understanding of BD and commercialization principles, including how partnerships, proposals, and go-to-market activities support growth.
• Interest in innovation, technology, and working with early-stage or evolving products and initiatives.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently while collaborating closely with team members and stakeholders.
• Comfortable contributing ideas, receiving feedback, and iterating on work.
Assets
- • Experience supporting commercialization or go-to-market activities, such as participating in demos, drafting proposals, or coordinating pilots.
• Familiarity with CRM tools or pipeline management platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) is considered an asset.
• Exposure to grant writing, funding applications, or calls for innovation.
• Experience with market research or opportunity scanning, such as reviewing comparable offerings or identifying partnership prospects.
• Experience working in innovation, healthcare, technology, or mission-driven environments.
• Experience with process mapping and optimization
• Experience with product visioning and low-code or no-code development

This position is funded through the Graduate Transition Initiative, delivered by techNL and the
Department of Jobs, Growth and Rural Development. The initiative provides support to eligible
companies that hire recent graduates into software development and tech sales roles, providing
meaningful early-career experience while supporting long-term growth in Newfoundland and Labrador’s tech sector.
Eligibility:
- • Ability to work full-time in Newfoundland and Labrador starting July/August 2026.
• Legally entitled to work full-time in Newfoundland and Labrador.
• Completion (within the past two years) of a minimum one-year post-secondary or skills-
training program at a recognized NL institution (e.g., MUN, CNA, Keyin College, Get Building,
etc.).
• Not currently enrolled as a full-time student.
