The Employment Services Division of the Association for New Canadians (formerly AXIS Career Services) offers a variety of programs and services designed to fast-track newcomers to meaningful employment in Newfoundland and Labrador. In addition to receiving individualized support with their job search, all newcomers who are eligible to work in Canada can participate in employment readiness training, internships and experiential work placements, or explore opportunities for self-employment. The ANC can also assist local businesses with hiring and retaining skilled and talented newcomers who are living in NL.
