ACENET is an Atlantic Canadian not-for-profit that provides access to supercomputers to perform complex, large-scale data analysis, modelling, simulations and calculations for applications as diverse as developing new aerospace materials, engineering structures, green energy alternatives, geospatial mapping, nanotechnology, Industry 4.0, artificial intelligence, genomics, and novel health treatments. Work that would take weeks or months using traditional desktop computers can be reduced to hours and days.
Our system in St. John’s incorporates 2700 compute cores and NVIDIA Tesla V100 GPUs tuned for AI/Machine Learning work.
With in-depth technical and scientific expertise, our local team provides consulting, standard and custom training from novice to advanced, and ongoing support in using our state-of-the-art tools. Specialists in machine learning, big data and data analytics, molecular dynamics, cybersecurity, and data management are also available.
