Coordinator or Specialist Level – Based on Experience
As a Marketing & Design Professional, you’ll play a hands-on role in SubC’s marketing team by executing key projects, creating high-quality visual content, and managing digital platforms to support brand engagement. Your work will help shape how SubC Imaging is visually represented across digital and print platforms, ensuring our materials are well-designed, on-brand, and effective in reaching our audience.
The role will be adjusted based on experience, with responsibilities ranging from supporting daily marketing activities to taking ownership of key design and marketing projects.
This position can be in-person, remote, or hybrid, depending on the candidate’s location. Preference will be given to candidates residing in Newfoundland and Labrador (NL) due to the need for occasional on-site activities, such as capturing photos and videos for marketing purposes.
What you do in this role:
Campaign Development & Execution
– Support the Marketing Director in coordinating and executing marketing and design outputs and project deliverables.
– Collaborate with other departments, such as Sales, to ensure alignment and consistency.
Graphic Design & Multimedia Content Creation
– Develop high-quality graphics and visual assets for marketing collateral, including brochures, manuals, datasheets, presentations, and email campaigns.
– Create compelling multimedia content, including promotional videos, social media graphics, and event materials.
– Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials by maintaining design standards and guidelines.
Web & Social Media Content Management
– Design, update, and maintain website content to ensure accuracy and a positive user experience.
– Plan, create, and schedule social media content to support brand engagement.
Content Development & Brand Support
– Collaborate with sales and product teams to gather customer insights and testimonials, using them to develop engaging visual content for case studies and marketing materials.
– Contribute to the development of branded marketing campaigns, bringing creative ideas to execution.
Additional Responsibilities for a Specialist-Level Hire
(If hired at a more senior level, the role may also include these responsibilities.)
– Lead the development and execution of marketing campaigns and strategic initiatives from concept to completion.
– Take ownership of assigned projects, making decisions on timelines, creative direction, and priorities.
– Conduct in-depth analysis of digital and social media metrics, share insights with the team, and make data-driven recommendations to improve content, engagement, and overall marketing strategy.
Skills and Qualifications:
For All Candidates:
– Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud Applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro).
– Experience creating a variety of digital and print materials, including infographics, videos, social media assets, print ads, conference materials, and emails
– Ability to translate complex technical information into engaging visual content.
– Ability to work independently and uphold high standards across marketing materials.
– Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
– Bonus points for experience with website management tools (e.g., Squarespace) and basic coding (HTML, CSS). Familiarity with data analysis (e.g., Google Analytics), social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite), and email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp) is also an asset.
Preferred for a Specialist-Level Candidate:
– Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage timelines and deliverables within established frameworks.
– Experience leading brand-aligned design and marketing materials and executing campaigns.
– Ability to use data and analytics to refine creative strategies and optimize engagement.
This position is intended to cover a maternity leave with a set end date. The potential for extension will be contingent upon the original employee’s return and the organization’s operational requirements.
