Solace Power Inc. is seeking to hire an IT Administrator.

Developing wireless power technology isn’t your everyday office job!
As a close team of almost forty people, everyone at Solace Power contributes to pushing the limits and redefining the way the world thinks about wireless power. We are currently looking for a new team member who can solve our day-to-day IT glitches and challenges, administer our network and server/cloud infrastructure, as well as contribute to future planning and growth activities, all in support of developing Solace’s leading wireless power technology that truly doesn’t exist anywhere else!

Currently, Solace is looking for an IT Administrator who is responsible for providing network, systems, and enduser support, while coordinaƟng required acƟviƟes with our shared service provider.

The IT Administrator’s typical day at Solace Power:
 Provide end user desktop support (including software, hardware, peripherals, and network).
 Deploy and maintain network and server infrastructure.
 Maintain and track IT equipment, records, and software licensing.
 Perform continual proactive preventative maintenance and updates on company IT hardware and software
systems.
 Administer and ensure maintenance and updates to all security infrastructure computer systems and
hardware platforms.
 Install and configure new servers, workstations, and other IT equipment.
 Install, diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade all end-user devices and equipment to ensure optimal
performance.
 Track, prioritize and document IT issues, requests, and resolutions.
 Develop and maintain technical documentation of systems and networks.
 Provide technical support, advice, and documentation to the departments and leadership.
 Research various IT-related problems and provide timely responses to end users.
 Manage data / systems backup, data migration, and disaster recovery.
 Identify and document IT projects to improve support, infrastructure, and operations.
 Perform various other duties related to IT system/user support as required.

Must-Have Requirements (like coffee in the morning):
 Information Technology diploma or a suitable combination of training and work experience.
 At least 5 years of relevant IT experience in Desktop/User support and server/cloud administration.
 At least 2 years experience administering Microsoft Office365, SharePoint, Teams, Windows/Linux OS (including
VMs), VMware and ESXi.
 Experience with SAN administration and maintenance.
 Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
 Strong ability to perform troubleshooting and assist users through IT procedures, in-person and remotely.
 Customer service driven.
 Self-motivated, a strong desire to learn, and be adaptable to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
 A great sense of humor!

Nice to have this too… (like dessert with every meal!):
 Experience implementing and administering cloud-based data storage and cloud applications.
 Experience identifying and vetting new software tools based on organization’s evolving needs.
 ITIL, Microsoft and/or other relevant IT certifications.
