We are seeking qualified applications for the position of Systems Integration Specialist to join the Integration division supporting diverse aircraft maintenance and modification programs at our St. John’s, NL base.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review system-level requirements and technical specifications for correctness
  • Preparation and execution of test instructions to ensure correct operation of equipment
  • Design various aircraft avionics and system modifications and/or repairs
  • Prepare avionics and system layouts; system-level drawings/summaries, installation, assembly, and detail drawings instructions
  • Communicate with engineering, project, and production staff to facilitate changes necessary to arrive at an approved solution quickly and efficiently
  • Assist in team activities to ensure the timely execution of project objectives
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Aerospace, Electrical, or Computer Engineering/ Science or equivalent experience
  • Three years’ experience in aviation technologies environment is preferred
  • Experience in Windows networks, Windows servers, and firewall security appliances
  • Knowledge of network and avionics data protocols including ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553, Ethernet, serial protocols, etc., to support the integration of system sub-components within aircraft configurations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, engineering drawing, and data analysis tools
  • Troubleshooting experience and superior analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Superior communication skills with the ability to work with diverse team
  • Demonstrated flexibility and able to adapt in a dynamic environment
