Exciting Opportunity: Services Technical Sales Specialist

We’re seeking a talented Technical Sales Specialist to join our vibrant Professional Services team. In this role, lead customers through the entire Services sales process with finesse and flair. You’ll craft winning strategies, dive into technical discovery, and deliver impactful solutions. Collaborate with various internal teams, engage in discovery calls, and conduct thorough due diligence. You’ll also work with the Existing Business teams to assist in customer renewals, ensuring our value shines through every interaction. We’re looking for a strategic relationship builder with product knowledge and a passion for solving client problems. Your ability to understand clients’ unique needs and map them to our innovative solutions will be key. What You’ll Do:
Guide the Journey: Propel existing customers through the buying process with precision, from lead qualification to discovery, project scoping, due diligence, and contract negotiation.
Solve Problems: Uncover and address pain points and gaps to identify and mitigate risk within financial institutions, showcasing how our Services can provide the perfect solutions.
Strategic Engagement: Engage with multiple buying influences, aligning your actions with the prospect’s position in their buying journey.
Collaborative Solutions: Partner with the Verafin Technical Services Team to craft tailored solutions, including discovery, scoping, risk mitigation and preparing Statements of Work (SOW).
Seamless Experience: Work closely with various internal teams to ensure a smooth and seamless customer experience.
Technical Expertise: Prepare and present integration and technical requirements to customers in a simplified manner for potential Services projects.
Industry Insight: Stay informed about the financial regulatory software industry and effectively demonstrate our unique value proposition.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with teams such as customer success, product management, onboarding, development, security, and legal to drive success.
Innovative Ideas: Bring forward innovative ideas in team meetings and collaborate with other team members to enhance our offerings.
Continuous Learning: Participate in product training sessions, meetings, skills training, and professional development classes to stay ahead of the curve.

What We’re Looking For:
Proven track record in technical sales, project management, business analyst, implementation specialist type of role would be considered an asset
Strong ability to grasp complex technical concepts and communicate them effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Proven ability to understand and simplify complex technical concepts and communicate them effectively
Skilled in conducting discovery and scoping calls, adept at peeling back the layers to uncover core issues (peel the onion)
Proficient in understanding and determining pricing for complex and special projects, considering the duration and scope of work. Knowledge of or experience of project management practices are a definite asset.
Experienced in handling complex sales for data integrations.
Experienced in preparing Statements of Work (SOWs), with a clear understanding of costs, responsibilities, risks and limitations.
Effective at working with development, project management, product management, legal, new business, and renewals sales teams to drive success.
Ability to connect with all levels within a customer’s organization, from c-suite executives to decision-makers and end-users.
