We are looking to fill the role of Head of Supply Chain for our Operations Team in St. John’s, NL or remotely!

This position will drive operational excellence by optimizing our entire supply chain network. The Head of Supply Chain will leverage their expertise and best practices to enhance our procurement, logistics, and distribution processes. In partnership with key leaders across Mysa, the role is designed to define, design, and deliver efficient supply chain strategies throughout the company. This strategic collaboration aims to boost operational efficiencies, reduce costs, and support our mission of sustainable growth.

Role Overview:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies aligned with Mysa’s goals and sustainable practices.
  • Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution.
  • Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Optimize inventory levels and improve forecast accuracy to ensure product availability while minimizing costs.
  • Manage relationships with key suppliers and logistics partners, negotiating contracts and ensuring performance standards are met.
  • Implement and leverage technology to enhance supply chain visibility, performance, and sustainability.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs, increase efficiency, and minimize environmental impact.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Product, Hardware, Sales, and Marketing to align supply chain strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Analyze supply chain data to uncover insights into operational efficiencies, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Champion training and enablement across the supply chain organization to build a high-performing team.

Your Star Qualities

  • An enthusiastic approach to taking on new opportunities and challenges in sustainable supply chain management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain best practices, technologies, and industry trends, particularly in sustainable and energy-efficient product manufacturing.
  • Proven track record of implementing successful supply chain strategies that balance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and environmental responsibility.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with ERP systems and supply chain analytics tools.
  • A passion for sustainability and the mission to fight climate change through innovative home technologies
