Hitech Communications Ltd. is the largest distributor of wireless voice, data, and video solutions in Atlantic Canada with 30+ years of industry leading experience, partnering with Motorola, JVC Kenwood and Avigilon.

With six branches across Atlantic Canada, Hitech employs a wide range of installation and technical team members and will provide extensive on-the-job training. We presently have a service manager for the next two years that will be training the successful candidate.

As a Service Manager with Hitech, you will be involved in the management of installation and support of wireless communications systems.

Our technical department is the soul of Hitech. As a service manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of the service department and manage the technical department in the aspects listed below. We will support you in this role and invest in more in-depth training to ensure your success in the Hitech Organization.

Responsibilities:

– Scheduling of approximately 5 technicians

– Design and support of Radio networks, antenna system, modem, video security

– Ensure all technical staff are following all operation and safety policies in place by Hitech Communications Ltd and customer specific sites

– Manage and oversee the daily operations of the service department

– Monitor and maintain service quality standards

Requirements:

– Basic electronics background

– RF/telecommunications/networking experience a plus. Experience with Motorola and Kenwood would also be a plus

– Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)

– Must have a valid drivers license

– Drug screening, motor vehicle record and background checks are part of the hiring process
