Scott Stevenson

 

Scott Stevenson is the CEO and co-founder of Spellbook. With a background in software engineering, he has been building technology products for over 15 years. He was inspired to found Spellbook with Daniel and Matt after he was unsatisfied with the cost and turnaround time of legal work in a prior venture. Under his leadership, Spellbook has grown from zero to 500+ customers. He is driven to make a lasting positive impact on the lives of lawyers and their clients.

Lilija Spiglazovaite 

Lily Spiglazovaite is a Client Partner at Meta, where she leads the Tech, Gaming & Venture businesses. With over 14 years of experience in driving growth and revenue for top industry businesses across various verticals in Europe and North America, Lily’s expertise particularly focuses on driving growth for performance-driven companies, international business expansion, product diversification, creative strategy acceleration, partnerships, Web to App/Web to Web scale. Her strong background in marketing, sales, and business development has given her a keen passion for leveraging technology to disrupt industries.

Dan Chuparkoff 

Dan Chuparkoff is a keynote speaker with more than 25 years of hands-on, team-transformation experience at organizations of all shapes and sizes. He’s been a leader at Google, McKinsey, Atlassian, and an impressive array of startups and enterprises. He has consulted with countless other teams on AI, innovation, change-management, and collaboration. Dan’s clients have included many of the global Fortune 500 as well as some of the startup circle’s newest and brightest stars.

Suzanne Grant 

Suzanne Grant’s mission at Capital Angel Network (CAN) is to demystify and open access to early stage investment. She joined CAN following 15 years in CEO roles, from tech non-profit, med-tech startup and a bootstrapped strategic communications agency she founded in Qatar. Suzanne is a dealmaker, leading and closing $25M in commercial sales and $5M in financing for her ventures. She has advised hundreds of founders on their positioning, path to market and investment strategies. Suzanne serves on the Foresight Canada Strategic Investment Committee and the Venture Labs Hardware Investment Network Membership Committee.

In 2023 Suzanne developed CANLABS inspired by investment decision insights. The program supports accelerator grads sharpening their investment round and closing strategies. Suzanne’s career origins are as an engineering officer in the Canadian Airforce and Army. She advocates and lives by peace and equitable opportunity.

Sarah Murphy 

Sarah Murphy is a Partner with Pelorus VC, a pre-seed and seed-stage venture capital firm that invests in Newfoundland & Labrador-based innovation companies. Sarah has a background working with early-stage startup companies, including Harbr.com, and as a founder of her own construction-tech startup, Sentinel Alert.

She was an Entrepreneur-in-Residence with Propel ICT, an Atlantic Canada accelerator, and has mentored startups throughout Atlantic Canada through groups like Propel, Volta, and Creative Destruction Lab.

Sarah is one of the co-authors of the Gender Diversity Playbook, a collection of best practices that startup companies can use to build more diverse and stronger performing organizations.
