techNL’s Ready Tech Talent Office, established through a Labour Market Partnership with the provincial department of Jobs, Growth and Rural Development, has become an invaluable part of Newfoundland and Labrador’s tech ecosystem by addressing a critical labour market gap. Since its launch in 2021, the team has positioned itself as a trusted, go-to resource for both job seekers and tech employers, strengthening the province’s labour market support ecosystem.
To better understand the lived experiences of equity-deserving professionals working in Newfoundland and Labrador’s tech industry, techNL is seeking to engage a consultant to facilitate a series of focus groups. The findings will help identify barriers to attraction and retention, highlight promising practices, and inform future employer resources and programming.
