College of the North Atlantic

College of the North Atlantic (CNA) is one of the largest post-secondary educational and skills training centres in Atlantic Canada. We have multiple campuses throughout Newfoundland and Labrador where more than 100 full-time programs are delivered to approximately 8,000 students annually, including online curriculum delivery via the Distributed Learning Service.

The School of Business and Information Technology (IT) is one of five schools of study at CNA. Our IT programs prepare students for careers in the areas of coding, web development, cybersecurity, infrastructure support, network design, and information management. CNA works closely with industry to ensure our programs are current and relevant and utilize the latest technologies to meet the needs of today’s changing labour market.

In response to the growing need for employees in the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Sector, CNA will begin offering the following programs in 2020/2021:

  • Software Development (Co-op) Diploma – 3 Year
  • Accelerated Software Development (Post Diploma) – 1 Year
  • AWS Amazon Web Services Micro-Credential – 15 Weeks (Start Date: January 2021)
