Product Trainer

Verafin is an industry leader in Financial Crime Management, providing a cloud-based, secure software platform for Fraud Detection and Management, BSA/AML Compliance and Management, High-Risk Customer Management and Information Sharing. Our rapid growth and continuing success mean we have an opening for an experienced Product Trainer to join our team.

As a Product Trainer, you will oversee the enablement and training of the Verafin software application for financial institutions.  Successful Product Trainers are driven self-starters who love working with their customers to solve complex problems. Role Responsibilities
Schedule and conduct online software training for banks and credit unions
Ensure training timelines are met using effective time management skills
Manage day-to-day operational aspects of multiple ongoing training projects
Respond to customer questions in a timely fashion
Keep up to date on financial regulatory requirements and industry trends
Create and maintain internal resources/documentation
Work cross-functionally with other teams on project implementation
Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and build client relationships
Develop and customize customer training plans
Stay knowledgeable about product changes and trends
Essential Skills & Qualifications
3-5 years’ experience in training on software applications or as a professional educator
Post-secondary education in Information Technology, Business, Adult Education or equivalent combination of experience and education
Ability to comfortably and confidently present to groups of people using a variety of delivery methods (online and in-person)
Confident, articulate, and professional communication abilities
A passion for learning, instructing, and mastering complex software applications
Ability to embrace and support growing business demands in a changing environment
A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
Previous experience working within the banking industry would be considered an asset
Previous experience training B2B (business to business) customers on software applications would be considered an asset
