We are a team that specializes in developing solutions for healthcare clients. Our solutions link clients, and healthcare professionals, to our digital inventory so they can order products and services quickly and at a low cost.
This job is an exciting opportunity to apply your interest and passion for information security to health-tech in additive manufacturing. We use cutting edge, cloud based technologies so you will be leveraging your skills in a sector that is experiencing exponential growth. For this role it is essential to be open to learning, sharing, mentoring and critical thinking.

Responsibilities
You will be working with the technology team and will/may be responsible for:
  • Participate in an interactive agile methodology (SCRUM)
  • Create and analyze security policies and procedures to determine weaknesses in infrastructure security and complete a thorough audit of existing measures
  • Monitor network traffic as an intrusion prevention specialist to detect possible threats and respond to threats immediately as they occur
  • Understand reverse engineering to have a thorough knowledge of malware analyzation and bug patching on various software platforms
  • Prevent crime by collecting and analyzing computer forensics data to enable the creation of evidence in the event of a security breach
  • Minimize the negative impact of a security breach by shifting security measures for future prevention and creating information assurance and firewalls
Primary Considerations
  • Graduate from post secondary technical program with an interest in developing a career in information security
  • Knowledge of cloud architecture (GCP, AWS) with a desire to develop skills in configuring secure network communication
  • An understanding of web development, HTTP, HTML, and application security
  • An understanding of security program development to align with NIST and/or OWASP security standards
  • Knowledge of security certifications such as SOC2 and ISO27001
  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable training team members on security principles and policies
  • Team player who enjoys collaboration within a multi-disciplinary team
  • Problem-solving skills and patience, attention to detail and a desire to improve
  • A good attitude and a focus on the success of the entire team is key to the role
Secondary Considerations
  • Technical designations or certifications (CISSP, CISA or CISM) would be an advantage
  • Previous experience in the delivery of cybersecurity projects would be an advantage
  • Understanding and working knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, and legislation such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001/2, and ITSG-33 would be an advantage
  • Any experience or interest in 3D printing would be nice but not essential
  • Understanding of Security and Privacy regulatory/legislative compliance (PIPEDA, GDPR, PHIPA, HIPAA, PHIA, CASL, etc.) would be an advantage
