Reporting to the CEO, you will be a key member of a technically diverse team creating the most advanced and intelligent subsea imaging systems. This is a full-time position working out of our Clarenville office.

● Hourly pay: $20 – $25/hr depending on experience. At SubC everyone is paid an hourly wage because we believe in mutual transparency and trust. Your time is valuable and we believe that, too often, corporations take advantage of salary workers with unrealistic working hours.

As our Human Resources and Office Administrator you will be responsible for:
○ Maintaining HR processes and policies, with development of new policies as necessary
○ Work with departments to map Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and help drive continuous improvement
○ Maintain best recruitment practices for attracting talent and conduct pre-boarding and onboarding for all new hires
○ Assist with payroll duties
○ Coordinate employee benefits
○ Prepare and organize annual performance reviews
○ Source funding for educational training and coordinating the training
○ Help promote company culture that encourages morale and high performance through organization of wellness program, company activities and events
○ Analysis of HR KPIs and development of initiatives to increase engagement
○ Provide administrative support as necessary, including scheduling group meetings, maintaining calendars, and creating and updating reports
○ Collaborate with all departments and provide support with projects where needed
○ Coordination of general building operations and service and insurance contracts

Skills and attributes
● Minimum two years of human resources related experience preferred
● Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
● Highly motivated, proactive, comfortable with change
● Exceptional communication and organizational skills
● Excellent leadership skills
● Willing to pitch in where needed
