You will NOT be mindlessly emailing scripted emails. You will be:

  • Learning how data and automation empower risk managers to optimize operations and decision making. In short, ClearRisk makes our customers safer and saves lives;
  • Conducting personalized outreach, while honing your copywriting skills and executive presence;
  • Even though you’ll be on the Revenue team, you’ll learn how a software company operates and how all teams are rowing in the same direction towards a common goal;

What you’ll do:

  • Contact potential customers through various communication channels;
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and Account Executives and present our company;
  • Accountable for monthly and quarterly pipeline targets;
  • Identify customer needs and suggest appropriate products/services;
  • Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction;
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with customers;
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities;
  • Work with our Marketing team to provide feedback on communication materials for the sales team;
  • Work with the Customer Success team in relation to post-sale engagement and upsell efforts;
  • Celebrate wins and losses together as a team.

What you bring: 

  • Previous work experience as a Business Development Representative, Account Executive or similar role would be ideal but not required;
  • Experience with CRM Software (i.e. Salesforce) is preferred;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Confidence in reaching out to prospective customers to set up meetings;
  • You like to be the best at things and you’re willing to put in the work to get there;
  • You want to be in sales (temporarily to learn, or long term) – even though that means making cold calls and owning a very visible number.
